Turn your Samsung Galaxy y 5360 into a portable WiFi Hotspot and connect it to PC for internet.
In my previous article I described how to connect galaxy y 5360 to pc for internet.
Now I will tell u how to connect Samsung Galaxy Y (Note that it is applicable for some Samsung Android phones also) to PC for internet.
First of all your PC needs to be WiFi enabled and I will assume you know how to scan WiFi network in PC and how to connect providing right password. If you don't know then do comment in this post.
So Here is the step by step procedure.
step 1 - In your mobile go to Setting > Wireless and Networks > Tethering and portable hotspots.
step 2 - Go to Portable WiFi Hotspot setting . There will be two options .
Then "Configure portable WiFi Hotspot"
step 3 - On the "network SSID" field type any name which will be your network name of WiFi.
step 4 - On the "security" field there will be several security option. U better go for the option "WPA2 PSK". Select this option from the drop down list.
step 5 - Now type any 8 digit password. Create your password as a combination of Alphabets and Numerical . This is for better security , so that anyone can not use your network.Now save this configuration.
step 6 - Now check the option "Portable WiFi Hotspot".
step 7 - Now in your PC scan WiFi networks. You Will find your network on that list.Connect to it by providing security password you entered in the Step 4.
There you go . Your PC is now connected with your Samsung Mobile via WiFi. You can access internet on your PC as you have turned your mobile into a portable WiFi Hotspot.
